She studied at the Rubinstein Academy in Jerusalem, the New England Conservatory in Boston and the City University of New York. Her teachers were Oren, Vince - Kraus, Zander and Rich. She has appeared in concerts in Israel, Europe, China and United States. Among her concert venues are Carnegie Hall, Jordan Hall, The Kennedy Center and the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London. An active collaborative artist, Michal Friedlander has performed along side musicians from the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra. She has partecipated in the Israel Festival, the Ravinia Festival, the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan and Jerusalem International Chamber Music Festival. Performed at the Festival in 2005.
